Biography:
Reece is an upcoming Black British, director, producer, screenwriter, video editor and realist born and raised in South East London, Lewisham. Reece’s most successful film is his proof of concept film named THE HOOD, which he wrote, directed, produced and edited when he was nineteen. THE HOOD was inspired by his upbringing and true events in Lewisham and has amassed over 1.9 million views. Reece likes to write film and TV scripts based on true events, dark satires and the ethnic community, that fit into the drama, crime, social realism, dramedy, neo-noir, thriller and comedy genres. Reece has been taught screenwriting by the film, TV and theatre, director, producer and screenwriter legend "Alby James OBE FRSA", film producer, and Raindance / British Independent film awards founder "Elliot grove", script editor and television drama consultant "Yvonne Grace", who's also the Author of "Writing Television - Series, serials, soaps".
Reece has been mentored by music video director "Rollo Jackson", and BAFTA Award winning producer "Dominic Buchanan". Alby James is also developing Reece's 8 part dramedy TV series. Reece's ambition is to make classic art house films, TV shows and be a world renowned auteur and be a household name in the film and television industry, he also plans to launch his own production company in the future.
